Dr. Qinglong Qiao received his B.Eng. degree from Dalian University of Technology in 2012 and his Ph.D. degree in Applied Chemistry in 2018. From 2012 to 2018, he was jointly trained at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). After graduation, he remained at the institute and has been working there since. He was promoted to Associate Research Fellow in 2020 and to Research Fellow in 2025. His research focuses on molecular science and product engineering of super-resolution fluorescent dyes, as well as their applications in dynamic super-resolution imaging for life sciences, materials science, and related fields. He has published over 100 papers in leading journals, including JACS and Angew, and has been granted 62 authorized invention patents. Dr. Qiao has led multiple projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), including Young Scientists Fund (Categories B and C) and General Program projects. He has also served as a key member in major national research initiatives, including the CAS Stable Support Program for Young Research Teams. His honors include the CAIA Science and Technology Award from the China Association for Instrumental Analysis and the Natural Science Academic Achievement Award of Liaoning Province.
